pP{Target70}



pP{Target70i} is a derivative of pP{Target70}. We expected the hsp70::white cDNA construct to produce dark red eyes in most inserts, but instead we get all colors, from light yellow to dark red. We therefore put an intron back into the gene in the hopes that this would increase expression, but his hasn't yet been tested.
